How Important are Travel Vaccines?

Many travellers ignore the importance of visiting a travel health clinic before taking an international trip.

Failure to get a yellow fever certificate will prevent passage to many countries. Yellow fever is an acute disease caused by a virus that is spread through mosquito bites. Once infected with the virus, the mosquito remains infectious for life (two to three months).
